Dan Dawe

Chartered Physiotherapist | Musculoskeletal & Sports Rehabilitation | Performance Coaching

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the CSP and HCPC, known for delivering a high standard of care grounded in both clinical expertise and real-world athletic experience. A competitive runner and triathlete, I have raced at National Championship level and bring a deep understanding of performance, biomechanics, and the demands placed on the body during high-level sport.

My approach is precise, results-driven, and highly individualised. Combining advanced manual therapy techniques with a strong focus on movement quality and rehabilitation, I work with clients to achieve efficient, long-lasting outcomes. I am also qualified in acupuncture, which I integrate seamlessly alongside hands-on treatment and adjunct therapies such as sports massage to optimise recovery and performance.

Alongside my clinical work, I have extensive experience in coaching runners and endurance athletes, bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. This allows me to guide clients not only back from injury, but forward to higher levels of performance. By integrating physiotherapy with structured training principles, I provide a truly comprehensive service tailored to each individual’s goals.

I have developed a specialist reputation in the management of running-related injuries and advanced gait analysis. Working with runners of all levels - from recreational athletes to competitive performers - I provide detailed biomechanical assessment and refined guidance on technique, footwear, and training strategies. My goal is simple: to help clients move more efficiently, perform at their highest level, and remain injury-free.

Alongside my private practice, I have gained extensive experience within an NHS orthopaedic setting, managing a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions with a structured and evidence-based approach.

Prior to my physiotherapy career, I served for five years in the British Army. There, I developed exceptional rehabilitation skills working with injured service personnel, including amputees, and contributed to the delivery of demanding physical training programmes for new recruits. This background underpins my disciplined, meticulous approach and my commitment to achieving the highest possible standard of care for every client.

Whether you are recovering from injury or striving to reach your next level of performance, I provide the expertise, structure, and support to help you achieve your goals with confidence.
